Both Jenny’s Social Group for Youth Who Stutter and the Phoenix National Stuttering Association Chapter have events in the coming weeks. This Sunday, September 11th, the Phoenix NSA Family Chapter will be hosting guest speaker Britt Lewis from 1:00 – 2:15 pm. at ASU – Coor Hall. Mr. Lewis is a person who stutters and has worked as a writer and editor in the field of higher education for 13 years. See flier below.
On Wednesday, September 21 st, Jenny’s Social Group for Youth Who Stutter and Their Families will be meeting from 4:30 – 5:30 pm. at Pot Belly Sandwich Shop on 4022 N. Oracle Road. Jenny’s group is lead by a speech-language therapist and is a great chance for kids who stutter to meet each other and understand that “you are not alone.” Call 520-989-9799 to RSVP.
