Online Learning Options
During your 20 minute phone consultation we will discuss your child and any questions you may have surrounding a recent diagnosis.
Step #2
Evaluation
How the Evaluation is Done:
Child Evaluation
Done LIVE online with facilitator administering interactive game (mix of pictures and audio questions. Response is pointing)
Parent Inventory
Parent fills out questionnaire.
Detailed Written Report is Given to Parent
Report will reveal:
– Speech language diagnosis
– Treatment Goals
– Notes from observation of child
– Personalized recommendations
What We Evaluate:
Language Evaluation
Assessment of a child’s ability to communicate and understand spoken language. This includes grammar, audible directions and depth of vocabulary.
Speech Evaluation
Assessment of child’s command of speech sounds necessary to utilize the english language in everyday speech. This include vowels, consonants and proper articulation.
Pragmatic Evaluation
Assessment of child’s use of language for the sole purpose of socializing. This includes interaction between peers and adults.
