What You and Your Child Will Learn:

READING FACES ON ZOOM

Your child will learn to read emotions on other children's faces and how to show their emotions via Zoom.

WHEN TO SPEAK

Your child will learn how to participate in Zoom online and when to answer questions, when to ask questions, when to make comments, etc.

NETIQUETTE

"Netiquette" is the combination of "ediquette" and "network". Your child will learn the rules of how to communicate politely in th eonline environment.

HOW TO ADJUST TO CHANGE

Your child will learn how to examine changes in their everyday lives.

PARENT CLASS PAGE

Parents will have access to our class page on Google Classroom. Here parents will be able to access our weekly lesson plans, watch videos of instructors explaining key concepts, engage with other parents and share their experience.

Speech-Language Pathologist
Certified Autism Specialist

Board Certified Autism Specialist and Arizona state-licensed, Guy Garcia holds a master’s degree in Communication Disorders. He has been a member of state advisory boards and has been recognized with the ACE award from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. He is specially trained to work with toddlers, children with autism and children with apraxia. Guy has 18 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist.

1. What ages of children is this class for?

Socializing In 2020 is for children ages 5 through 18. Children and teens are grouped according to skill level.

2. What days and times will the online classes be offered?

Enrollment is ongoing. Classes will be offered on weekday and afternoons. We do not place children according to age, diagnosis or label. Children are placed according to their individual personalities and social skills.

3. How long are the classes scheduled?

Jenny's Socializing in 2020 is scheduled to run for 4 weeks.
